Google Pixel 6 128GB Seafoam!
Tensor, the first processor developed by Google
Tensor is the first processor made by Google – just for Pixel! Thanks to it, Pixel 6 offers up to 80% better performance than Pixel 5, with apps that load much faster and games that are even more responsive. It also runs much more efficiently, ensuring a longer battery life.
On top of this, Google Tensor features machine learning to do things only Google allows you to do, like translate messages or videos instantly and without internet access, as well as a custom image processor, so the Pixel 6’s new camera captures all those special moments and landscapes just the way you experienced them.
Full protection with Google’s most advanced technologies
Google Tensor includes an additional layer of protection and is powered by the new Titan M2 security chip, which makes the Pixel 6 even more resistant to attacks. This way, Google Tensor, the Titan M2 chip and security updates every few months ensure that you, your phone, your personal data and your files are always safe.
In fact, with the Google Pixel 6 you have full control over your privacy, deciding when and how you want your phone’s microphones and cameras to be used. And in an emergency, Pixel 6 can automatically call for help, share your location or record a video. It can also detect if you’ve been in a car accident and call for help if you don’t respond.
See and control all these settings from one place: the security center, which also gives you proactive recommendations with simple steps you can take to improve your safety.
Smart user experience that’s totally tailored to you
As we’ve already hinted at, the software and hardware of the Google Pixel 6 work together to give you a smart user experience that’s completely tailored to you. For starters, Pixel 6 shows you apps and information right when you need them, such as boarding passes before you catch a flight.
You can also get chat conversations translated in real time, listen to podcasts with subtitles, and even use the camera to read translated information in up to 55 languages. Without using the internet!
Efficient 4614 mAh battery management and 30W fast charging
The Pixel 6’s level of adaptability and intelligence also carries over to the management of its 4614 mAh battery, which prioritises power consumption for your favourite apps. This way, Google predicts an all-day battery life extension*. But if you turn on Extreme Battery Saver Mode, the Pixel 6 can last up to 48 hours*. Once you plug it in, the 30W fast charging will fill up 50% of the battery in just 30 minutes*. Because with Pixel 6, you set the limits.
*Battery and charging data are from internal labs. Actual results may vary based on differences in software version, environment and usage conditions, and may not reflect the actual product.
Photos with more colour, more detail and up to 150% more light
The Pixel 6’s new camera is also equipped with larger sensors to help you capture more colour, more detail and up to 150% more light than the Pixel 5. To be exact, this camera system consists of a 50-megapixel ISOCELL GN1 main sensor and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor with a 114° field of view.
Among the camera’s new features are Magic Eraser, which lets you delete objects and third parties from Google Photos, and Face Unblur, which promises to sharpen a face that has gone out of focus. On the front camera we find an 8 megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture, for radiant selfies.
As beautiful as it is tough! With IP68 and Gorilla Glass Victus protection
Of course, the aesthetic section of the Google Pixel 6 also gets a makeover, and it does so with a rather distinctive touch. This time we find a black strip on the back to frame and conceal the camera section, with the flash located on the right side.
But as well as looking good, the Pixel 6 is very tough. It’s built with a layer of Gorilla Glass Victus, the toughest glass to date, with up to 2x the scratch resistance of previous Pixel phones. What’s more, thanks to IP68 protection, the Pixel can withstand splashes of water and dust without a problem.
*The IP68 standard is based on laboratory testing in a controlled environment, with immersion in fresh water at room temperature for a set period of time. We recommend not immersing the device in salt water, chlorinated water, hot water and/or other liquids that may be corrosive or affect its watertightness. For proper maintenance, if the device comes into contact with these products, clean it immediately with fresh water.
6.4-inch OLED FHD+ display with a refresh rate of up to 90 Hz
That’s right: under that Corning Gorilla Glass Victus we find a 6.4-inch FHD+ OLED panel with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, 20:9 aspect ratio and a refresh rate of up to 90 Hz.
The latter means you’ll enjoy smooth frame transitions, whether you’re playing a game, watching a movie or scrolling through your social media feed. Oh, and you won’t have to worry about power consumption, as the Smooth Display feature adapts the refresh rate to what you’re watching to save battery life while you enjoy the best viewing experience. Enjoy all the content on your phone like never before!
