Realme GT2 Pro 5G 256GB Paper Green!
High End – Low Price
With its Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, LTPO AMOLED display, outstanding camera setup including microscope function, and modern charging technology, the Realme GT 2 Pro is a real challenge to the upper-class devices of other manufacturers like Xiaomi, Samsung, Oppo, or OnePlus.
Environmentally friendly beauty
The Realme GT 2 Pro goes different ways and does not only show this in the specifications or the price, but also in the design. Because the flagship from the Far East was designed according to a sustainable concept of paper art, as the company itself calls it. The specially developed biopolymer produces far less CO2 and results in a unique and pleasantly grippy texture. Apart from the material, the smartphone impresses with very thin edges, a narrow punch hole on the front, and a discreetly designed camera module on the casing’s back.
The fastest LPTO display to date
Small price, inferior hardware? Not with the Realme GT 2 Pro! The Asian manufacturer has installed a 6.7-inch WQHD+ panel that can offer a refresh rate of 1 to 120 Hz thanks to LTPO technology. The display’s scan rate is a record-breaking 1000 Hz. The maximum brightness of 1400 nits is also on the highest level. Digital content is resolved with up to 3216 x 1440 pixels. The screen can cover 100% of the DCI-P3 color space thanks to AMOLED technology. The electronics are protected by Gorilla Victus glass.
Anything but ordinary: the camera
It is already clear on the front that Realme does not want to compromise on the camera quality of the GT 2 Pro. The front camera has a 32-megapixel Sony IMX615 sensor with f/2.4 aperture. On the back, the triple camera setup ensures outstanding results. The trio is led by a 50 megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor with f/1.8 aperture and OIS. The ultra-wide-angle camera is exceptional, relying on a 50 megapixel sensor with f/2.2 aperture and offering a shooting angle of a breathtaking 150 degrees. Also not ordinary is the 2 megapixel microscope camera that can magnify objects up to 40x.
Flagship performance
The Realme GT 2 Pro is a flagship without question. It goes without saying that only the fastest is good enough. Therefore, the manufacturer has installed the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Octa Core processor, which is accompanied by an Adreno 730 GPU and has a clock rate of up to 3.0 GHz. Supplemented by 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a whopping 256 GB of UFS 3.1 ROM, even demanding gamers will go into raptures. No compromises are tolerated in terms of speed and storage capacity!
Dual 5G and 360 degree NFC
The Realme GT 2 Pro also impresses with innovations aside from the big highlights. Contactless payment is made even easier and faster with 360-degree NFC support. The other standards are also high-end. Thanks to dual 5G support and WiFi 6, fast Internet access is always granted. Smartwatches and other gadgets can be connected wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.2. Location services can be used without restrictions thanks to dual GPS support. An in-display fingerprint sensor and the high-quality stereo speakers with Hi-Res Audio certification round off the overall package.
Reliable even on long days
Realme is generous in terms of the internal power source. A 5000 mAh battery offers enough capacity even for very long days – especially thanks to the energy-saving LTPO AMOLED display. The battery can be charged via USB C cable. The 65W Smart Flash Charge ensures that the power source can be fully charged within a very short time.
