Samsung Galaxy A54 (A546 2023) 5G 256GB Lime!
In the A54, Samsung integrates a 6.4-inch FHD+ SuperAMOLED display with a dynamic refresh rate of 120Hz. While this is pretty close to the same specs as the A53’s screen, albeit slightly smaller (6.5 inches), the new model’s brightness is better. The A54 adds an extra 200 nits compared to the previous generation, bringing the total to 1,000 nits, which makes the screen more viewable in bright environments.
To protect the screen and the back of the device, Samsung relies on Gorilla Glass 5, the durable glass that prevents – in most cases – any damage from drops from a small height on hard, rough surfaces while providing decent scratch resistance. In terms of durability, the Galaxy A54 5G supports IP67 waterproofing standard.
The front of the device features an Infinity-O notch for the selfie camera, which uses a 32MP sensor. Speaking of cameras, the back of the A54 includes a 3-sensor system. The main camera has a resolution of 50MP with optical image stabilization (OIS) and video digital image stabilization (VDIS). The ultra-wide-angle camera has a resolution of 12MP, while the macro lens is not missing, at 5MP.
The autonomy of the A54 is based on the 5,000mAh battery, and is similar to that of the A53. According to SAMSUNG it is able to power the smartphone for 21 hours of video playback while for charging, the A54 uses Super Fast Charging 25W, which should be able to fully charge the device in 82 minutes.
Inside we find Samsung’s own Exynos 1380 chipset, with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, while for the storage space, there is a choice between 128GB and 256GB with UFS 3.1. There is still the possibility of expansion with a memory card, even with an additional 1TB.
