Samsung also uses Gorilla Glass Victus+ on both the front and back of the phone.

The Galaxy S26 FE features a triple rear-camera system:
- 50MP main camera with OIS

On the front, the S26 FE includes a 12MP selfie camera capable of recording 4K video at up to 60fps.

Samsung Galaxy S26 FE Release Date in Cyprus
Samsung announced the Galaxy S26 FE on August 27, 2026, with release scheduled for September 4, 2026.
The Galaxy S26 FE is available in 128GB, 256GB and 512GB configurations globally, although storage and colour availability can vary by market.
In Cyprus, Smartech Electronics currently offers the 128GB and 256GB versions, starting from €789.
Samsung Galaxy S26 FE vs Galaxy S26
The Galaxy S26 FE is designed for buyers who want much of the Galaxy S experience without paying the price of Samsung’s main flagship models.
The S26 FE offers several flagship-level features, including:
- 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X display
- Exynos 2500 processor
- 50MP main camera
- Dedicated 3x optical telephoto
- 45W fast charging
- Wireless charging
- IP68 protection
- Samsung DeX
- Long-term Android software support
The standard Galaxy S26 remains the more premium device, but the decision comes down largely to price versus flagship refinements.
At €789 for the 128GB version, the S26 FE is aimed at buyers who want a high-end Samsung experience while keeping the price comfortably below Samsung’s more expensive flagship models.
Is the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE Worth It?
For many buyers, the Galaxy S26 FE could be one of the more sensible Samsung choices of 2026.
It doesn’t try to compete with the S26 Ultra on camera hardware or premium features. Instead, it brings together the features that matter most for everyday use: a large 120Hz AMOLED display, strong performance, a versatile triple-camera system, good battery capacity, fast charging and long software support.
The €789 starting price in Cyprus is important here. It positions the S26 FE as an alternative for buyers who want more than a mid-range Galaxy A-series device but don’t necessarily need to pay for Samsung’s highest-end S26 models.
The 256GB version at €869 is particularly worth considering for anyone planning to keep the phone for several years, as there is no microSD card slot.
